“Education Quality and Economic Growth”

Summary: Educational quality studies have shown that more schooling and the quality of that schooling are associated with higher individual earnings. A U.S. study shows that people with higher quality education, translate a standard deviation increase in mathematics at the end of high school into 12% higher annual earnings. The evidence in this study also shows that educational quality is directly related to a school’s achievement and success to their students.
